In January 2024, I lost my younger brother.
Shortly afterwards, I moved to Athens, where I invested my savings into building Ruby Art, an independent curatorial platform. I opened a gallery, collaborated with artists and organised exhibitions. None of it was commercially driven. Looking back, I realise that creating a space for art and community was also an important part of my own healing process — a way of navigating grief and allowing something new to emerge from something incredibly difficult.
During this time, I also began processing my thoughts and emotions through poetry. Writing had always been part of my life, but suddenly it took on a different meaning. Over the past year and a half, these poems gradually evolved into Fragments of Wisdom. Having invested much of my savings into Ruby Art and supporting other artists, I am now reaching out for support myself, for the first time, to bring this publication into the world.

I am currently raising CHF 18,000 to cover the final design and production of the first edition. Fragments of Wisdom is currently in its final design and production preparation phase.
If the first edition cannot go into production by 31 December 2026, all pre-orders will be cancelled and customers will receive a full refund, including any shipping costs paid.
Voluntary contributions made to support the project, without purchasing a product, are non-refundable.

Refund Policy
Signed poetry prints are produced independently in Switzerland and will be fulfilled regardless of the oracle deck's production status. Purchases of these prints also help finance the first edition.

Fragments of Wisdom is an oracle deck consisting of 29 cards, each exploring a different theme within the complexities and paradoxes of human experience. The cards are accompanied by a book of approximately 72 pages. Each theme unfolds across a double-page spread, with an original poem on one page and a reflective message on the other. The texts explore love, grief, vulnerability, transformation, acceptance, and the intricacies of human relationships. Rather than offering fixed answers or conventional spiritual guidance, they invite readers to reflect, question, and find their own meaning.
The imagery, created through AI and carefully developed and curated under my artistic direction, seeks to capture the emotional essence of each theme. Intimate and atmospheric, the images evoke a feeling rather than prescribe an interpretation.
The project is now entering its final design, layout and production phase.

Hi, I’m Bianca Bauer, founder of Ruby Art, a Swiss writer, curator and project manager working across art, culture and communication.
Writing has been part of my life since I was a teenager, from personal journals and poetry to texts published in magazines and presented in exhibitions. I've always been fascinated by the human experience, particularly the contradictions, vulnerabilities and complexities that shape who we are.
In 2024, I founded Ruby Art, an independent curatorial platform that later grew into a gallery in Athens. My intention was to bring artists together and create space for exchange, dialogue and artistic expression.
Fragments of Wisdom is my first independent literary publication, bringing together my love for writing, visual storytelling and my belief that art can create meaningful moments of connection and reflection.
I currently live and work between Zurich and Athens.
