A cross-cultural space for intimate, visible, and bold creation.
Based in Zurich, hosted in Athens.

At its core lies rubyart.ch, a Swiss-based curatorial space initiated by Bianca Bauer.

Ruby Art brings together contemporary voices from Switzerland and Greece in an ongoing conversation. Each exhibition begins as a spark and unfolds through collaboration, creative tension, and cultural resonance — often with the support of Swiss institutions.

The physical space in Athens is where it all takes form. Perfectly located at Varnava Square, in the buzzing heart of Pagrati, this compact, high-ceilinged gallery offers a focused setting. Each show is accompanied by a limited edition of 29 pieces offering something unique, tangible, and accessible. It was important to keep the threshold low. Ruby Art is deliberately placed in a lively square, where art becomes part of everyday life, free to encounter even for those without prior interest or intent. The limited editions make art not only affordable but also offer artists a sustainable way to generate income beyond the exhibition itself.
